Kampala North Stake Couples conference 

Strengthening marriage between a man and a woman

 

It was a moment of joy and merrymaking as couples of Kampala North stake arrived to Grace the couples conference held on July 27th at Ntinda Ward. The conference based on the theme: strengthening marriage between a man and a woman was organized by Kampala North stake under the leadership of president Fredrick Kyambadde, deputized by president Wayne Cook as 1st counselor and President Godfrey Lufafa as 2nd counselor. The event which was spiritually oriented yet at the time fun-filled will go down as one worthwhile spent activities. In his opening remarks, the president cook urged couples to counsel with Heavenly Father to strengthen their marriages and as love each other. He said a happy marriage thrives on four pillars namely: strengthen your marriages, be thoughtful and respectful, be Royal to one another and willing to apologize. Adding that it's also important that you listen to your spouse as opposed to imposing your opinion on him or her. President Lufafa called on couples to always be tolerant and learn to say sorry when the other is hurt even if it's not your fault. "Don't wait too long to correct a wrong because it may not be good," said Lufafa. While retaliating cook, Lufafa informed the teamwork.
