A handover project from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Tororo area will benefit 19 communities by providing latrines, water source protection and other sanitation measures. Many of the beneficiaries will be primary schools and the learners who attend those schools. Included were Oriang, Odikai and Yeloyanga primany schools and others in the area of West Budama. The project will enhance water quality and general health for hundreds of citizens in the area.

The handover was attended by many dignitaries and VIP’s including Mr. Osuna Emmanuel L C 5, who was the chief guest. Mr. Osuna praised the Church for it’s commitment in fulfilling promises. He also noted that a project of this magnitude would normally take two years, but was completed in just five months. In his closing remarks, he stated “if your church was in Tosoro, I would be the first to join.”
