Looking forward to General Conference.

As the first weekend of April draws near, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints around the world are looking forward to inspired talks from the leaders of the Church during General Conference.

Geneneral conferences of the Church are held twice every year in April and October. 

The meetings on Saturday 1st April will comprise a two hour morning session, a two hour afternoon session and later on, a two hour Priesthood meeting which will will start at 6:00pm local time in Salt Lake City.

 

On Sunday there will be held two sessions of two hours each comprising the Sunday morning and Sunday Afternoon Sessions.

Proceedings of this conference wil be followed by millions of Saints and interested members of the public via direct TV, satelite and internet streaming. Both Audio and Video recordings of the conference will soon after be available on the churchs official website. Transcripts of the conference of the language will also be available in various languages.

Due to severe differences in the time Zones, Saints in Uganda will gather together in thier various chapels and meeting houses  a week after conference to view recorded rebroadcasts of this conference.

The re-broadcasts will run in all units in Kampala, Entebbe, Lugazi, Jinja, Iganga, Mbale, Lira, Gulu and Masaka. These will generally start at 10:00am on Saturday 8th April 2017 and 9th April 2017.

Members of the public are invited to join in these conferences.

This will be the 187th Annual conference of the Church.
